California Earthquake Swarm

Sitting in O'Hare airport between the first two legs of our flight, I look up at the TV and see a CNN banner that says "California Earthquake Swarm." I've always felt that the Next Big One was going to happen while I was out of town, which always makes me think. If it's really major, do we come home early? If not, would we still enjoy ourselves knowing things could be really messed up at home? What about our cat, Kai?

Since there's nothing (yet) on Google News, I think and hope it's just cable news hyperbole. In fact, as I write this the "swarm" story has become secondary to a kid being rescued from the inside of a washing machine.

Ok, no more airport minutiae. Next stop: Roma!
